If you're considering using our exhibition and event contracting services, it would help us to better understand your requirements so we can tailor our services accordingly. We’ve included a step-by-step guide on what to expect when using our professional contracting services.
Please provide us with as much information as you can about your planned exhibition, trade show or event. In the first instance, it's good practice to supply us with a copy of your exhibition booking form; this often includes vital information and is a great starting point to understand what space you have booked.
Here are a series of questions that we are likely to ask you in order to provide you with a competitive quote (we appreciate you may not be able to provide all these details initially):
Name and location of the event?
Key dates, including build, open days and dismantle?
Event organising company along with key contact details?
Stand details - Shell Scheme or Space Only, size, how many open sides on the stand?
Please provide a mini brief of what you require & supply any supporting images that may help us meet your requirements.
At this stage it often proves useful to visit our showroom where the quality of our event displays can be viewed, and you can have a better idea of which product best suits your vision and budget. You can also see how the display and exhibition stands are constructed and what additional options you may wish to consider e.g counters / podiums / lightboxes etc. Furthermore, we have a vast back catalogue of exhibition stand images which will provide inspiration. Any input / suggestions you may have will be warmly received, even a very rough pencil sketch is helpful to us; after all you know your industry better than we do!
Once we have as much information collated as possible, we will then provide you with an indicative quotation. Once this has been agreed we will send you a 3D drawing / sketch (see example below) of your stand design for your approval. A final quotation will be sent once the sign off on the stand design has been agreed.
After we receive your purchase order sit back and let us project manage your event. As a professional stand builder, we have the experience and knowledge move your project forwards with the minimum of input from you. We will ensure all the necessary Health & Safety requirements and logistics are completed to the deadlines imposed by the event organisers.
To give complete peace of mind (to us and you) we will pre-build your exhibition stand at our premises to ensure the graphics are a perfect fit. On request you can view your stand at this stage by visiting our premises alternatively we will always send plenty of photographs of the stand to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
On the day of installation, our team of experienced stand builders will arrive at the venue in plenty of time to build your exhibition stand; ensuring the concept and vision comes to life. Likewise, we’ll be on hand to dismantle and pack away your stand with professionalism and care. We can also offer a storage option for your graphics for future use.
You are safe in the knowledge that we are fully covered by adaquate Public Liability Insurance, proof can be shared on request.
Shell Scheme Stands Versers Space Only Stands
- A Shell Scheme Stand is a modular booth structure which is sold as a package. The package includes your back walls (constructed from aluminium and foamex panels) and / or any of the following: carpet, electric socket, spotlights, and header fascia’s. A Shell Scheme is often referred to as a booth.
- Tip: If ordering a Shell Scheme the overall appearance can be improved if the fascia panels and posts can be removed, this creates a much more open spacious feel. However, this is often subject to the approval of the show organisers.
- A Shell Scheme Stand is built by the exhibition organisers in readiness for your arrival. They create a perimeter boundary for your own designated, purchased, space.
- A Space Only Stand is literally as per the title; you do not have anything included. Any additions such as a carpet and electrics will have to be ordered separately from the official exhibition providers, we can assist with this process if required.
- A Space Only Stand allows for the construction of taller, more creative and complex structures which require a longer installation time, and permits the use of an island stand design, which is accessible from four sides. These stands are typically completed with the assistance of a professional exhibition contractor, who handles requirements related to Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Insurance, and technical drawings. In addition, contractors often arrange for other necessary items, such as electrics, flooring, raised floors, furniture, rigging, and hanging features.
