Light Boxes

At The Display Link we offer a wide range of Light Boxes. However we know that choosing the correct Light Box is in important decision for you especially as we are well into the 'Environmentally Friendly' era.

Below we have tried to explain in simpler terms the difference between the Light Boxes we offer so that you can confidently make up your own mind. 

LED Light Boxes are without doubt our biggest selling lightbox. But why?.. well the LED Light Boxes have many features that the standard original (T5) Light Boxes cannot live up to. In fact due to this technological advances in LED technology we no longer offer a standard T5 'flat' Light Box any more.

The advantages of the LED Light Boxes are as follows: Super Slim Frame - as no fluorescent bulbs are required this means the depth can be much thinner resulting in just 22mm depth. Longer life - It is a fact that LED Light Boxes last upto 20 times longer than standard T5. In fact LED's last upto 100,000 hours which is approximately 10 years as Standard T5 bulbs llast upto 18,000 hours and Cold Cathode lasts upto 50,000 hours. Image Reproduction - LED Light Boxes will always give you a brighter whiter even spread of light across the panel (2200 to 2500 lux level). Transportation - The LED lightboxes will travel well in transit as there are no bulbs to break! Running Costs - if you plan to keep your Light Box for a long term basis this is the most important consideration. Overall LED lighting uses approx 33% less energy than fluorescent tubes. Included as Standard - All our LED Light Boxes include front loading snap open frames of easy interchangeability of graphics, silver anodised aluminium frames and range from A4 to A0. However as 'non-standard' we can custom make any size and offer a range of RAL colours.

Panoramic Light Boxes - Often reffered to as an 'Arc' Light Box  these Panoramic Lightboxes offer something a little different. The shape of the front face is a curved shape to offer a different contemporary feel. If you look at them from above they would form the shape of a letter 'D'. Not yet available as LED these Panoramic Light Boxes are edge lit with 2 qty T5 fluorescent bulbs.

Free Standing Light Boxes - Our biggest selling Freestanding Light Box, the Mirage Lite is a big seller. Again powered by T5 fluorescent lighting this lightweight Freestanding Light Box can be used double sided. Alternatively we have just released the 'Floor Standing Lightbox' which is available in A1 portrait and A0 landscape format. Also includes a literature shelf making it the ideal promotional solution.

Desk Top Light Displays - Our Desk Top Light Displays are slim and lightweight using LED technology with a 12 volt power supply. Available in three sizes these Desk Top Light Displays are attractively finished with chrome fittings and have proven to be extremely effective.

Graphics - Over 90% of Light Boxes that we sell have graphics supplied by The Display Link. We offer quality colour graphics printed onto Backlit Film (or Duotrans as it is also commonly know).
