The Display Link go ‘Bananas’… raising money for MND.

Lorraine Crooks (Director) and Diane Morton (Admin) dressed as Bananas for the Sheffield Fun Run on Sunday 26th April to help raise much needed fund’s for The Motor Neurones Association and “what a fantastic time we had raising money for such a worth while cause”.

MND South Yorkshire is Display Link’s selected charity and is close to all our hearts. Diane’s husband was diagnosed with the disease in October 2007 and have since received invaluable financial assistance fronm the charity which has helped to fund various unexpected expenses such as the need to have the use of an electronic chair to help Chris be more Independent, and transportation cost’s to help Diane And Chris go on their honeymoon to Canada.

We wanted to get the MND association noticed. So Lorraine and Diane decided to wear Banana suits and it worked as we were interviewed by Radio Sheffield (and were featured on their website), made headlines in both The Sheffield Evening Star paper and the BBC South Yorkshire Home Page.

As well as raising funds The Display Link also provided The MND Association with a full colour exterior grade pvc banner and identity stickers.
